Partners & Structure

The GCP is a not-for-profit limited company comprising two levels of Board and an executive team who carry out work in support of the Boards. The GCP also undertakes extensive partnership working with organisations and individuals who are committed to the aims of the GCP and who help achieve those aims either as delivery partners or as associates.

Boards
Our Operating Board and the Partnership Board have different responsibilities and roles. To find out more about the roles, responsibilities and members of the Operating and Partnership Boards, please visit GCP Boards.

Executive
The GCP executive team consists of seven full-time staff and four part-time staff. To see the full GCP executive team, visit contact us.

Partners
Partners fall into the categories of delivery partner or associate. Delivery partners help deliver specific projects that achieve GCP's aims, whilst associates spread the word of the GCP, as well as receiving updates and information about our work.

The GCP associates number over 1,000 people who receive information about GCP and invitations to events. These individuals have no responsibility to the GCP, but they help to spread the GCP message with the common aim of improving the economy of the Greater Cambridge area. PowerPoint presentations and fact cards which promote Greater Cambridge are available for associates to use to promote the area. Also see International section for more information.

The GCP has an open door policy and the Partnership aims to engage with as many relevant people and organisations as possible through meetings, events and the website.

If you have any economic development issues or activities you would like to discuss with the GCP, please contact us.
