Science and Research parks

Babraham Bio-Incubator
Started in 1998 and providing combined office and laboratory space for around 30 start-up and early stage bioscience ventures. Based five miles (8km) south-east of Cambridge, Babraham is one of EEDA’s enterprise hubs.

This 112-acre research and development and office park is situated five miles (8km) north of Cambridge.

Cambridge Science Park
Established in 1970 on land owned by Trinity College. It has premises for over 60 science-based companies and includes a recently opened innovation centre. Key companies include Toshiba Research and Plastic Logic.

Chesterford Research Park
A 250 acre (101 ha) low density scheme is being developed to provide high-quality accommodation in an attractive environment for science and technology based companies of all sizes.

Granta Park
An 86-acre research and development park with a strong life science focus situated seven miles (11km) south-east of Cambridge.

Melbourn Science Park
Owned by the Technology Partnership Group, the park accommodates companies from a wide range of sectors, nine miles (14.5km) south of Cambridge.

St John’s Innovation Centre
Established in 1987 on land owned by St John’s College, the centre provides business support and accommodation for around 60 early stage knowledge-based companies, plus 200 virtual tenants. St John’s Innovation Centre is one of EEDA’s enterprise hubs.
